MANHATTAN, Kan., - Kansas State demonstrated youthful promise Sunday in an 83-59 victory over Pittsburg State in exhibition basketball action. Five Wildcats scored in twin figures with Jacob Pullen's 17 being high. Newcomer Curtis Kelly contributed a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.

"Growth" is what K-State basketball coach Frank Martin wants to see in these early games to the 2009-10 season, and that maturing started Sunday with an 83-59 shellacking of Pittsburg State.
