MANHATTAN: Kansas State announced Tuesday that ESPN's College GameDay will be coming to the K-State campus on Jan. 30, 2010, for its annual home basketball date with the Kansas Jayhawks.

ESPN's College Gameday is coming to Kansas State.

"I couldn't be happier that ESPN has chosen K-State as a site for its College GameDay show," said athletics director John Currie.

"This will be a great opportunity for the rest of the country to see how passionate and enthusiastic our fan base is for Wildcat athletics."

GameDay will also visit Connecticut for a women's game, plus Clemson, Illinois, Kentucky, Washington, Syracuse and Duke.

It's the first time that GameDay has ever come to Bramlage Coliseum.

The Wildcats twice hosted the football version of GameDay in 1998 (vs. Nebraska) and 2000 (vs. Oklahoma).
