Posted Apr 28, 2009

The majority of draft day attention went to Qb Josh Freeman, but quietly, Ian Campbell and Brooks Rossman sign Free Agency deals.

While Josh Freeman was the lone Wildcat drafted, Ian Campbell and Brooks Rossman have signed as free agents with the St. Louis Rams.

Campbell, a three-time All-Big 12 selection, recorded 47 tackles this past season, including eight for loss, which was second on the team. He also tallied a team-best 4.5 sacks and blocked a school-record three field goal attempts.

The Cimarron, Kan., native finished his stellar four-year career at Kansas State with 20.5 sacks, which ranks fifth in school history. Rossman, a native of San Diego, Calif., was an honorable mention All-Big 12 performer in 2008 after connecting on 9-of-12 field goals and 54-of-55 PAT's.

A First Team All-Big 12 performer in 2007, Rossman finished his Wildcat career ranked sixth in field goals made with 31 and third in field goal percentage (77.5).
