Logan Dold, running back, Height: 6 ft. Weight: 200 lbs. Max bench: 315 lbs.
“I’m cleared academically. I move up this Saturday, and my first day of classes is June 9. I’m not real sure about either of these, but I think I got around a 3.5 or 3.6 on my GPA, and I think I scored about an 18 or 19 on the ACT."
Thoughts of off-season work-outs:
“Right now I’m just doing stuff out of the work-out book they gave us. It’s a lot of core workouts and lower body reps. It’s tough, but I’m looking forward to working out with the team starting this Saturday.”
“I’m starting out at running back. Originally they recruited me as a safety, then after my senior year they decided they’d start me out at running back.”
What he wants to improve about his game:
“I think the biggest thing is my footwork and my overall ability to change direction.”
Expectations for himself and the team this coming season:
“I really don’t know. I’m just hoping to play somewhere on the field, even on special teams. I just want to help the team out somewhere. I think we can compete for a Big 12 championship. Last year we lost a bunch of close games and got a bunch of injuries, so hopefully that’s all behind us now.”
Expected jersey number:
"I find out sometime this next week."
Where he would have signed if not Kansas State:
“I really have no idea. I committed so early I really don’t know.”
Teammates he stayed in contact the most:
“I talk to Joseph Kassanavoid almost every day. I also keep up with Travis Tannahill."
When he knew Kansas State was the place to commit:
“Just after I finished looking at some other schools and going on a couple of visits. I’ve always been a K-State fan, and after going around and looking, nothing compared to K-State.”
