William Cooper hails from a small school, small town "with a population of about 6,000". While some schools elected not to recruit the kid, and others probably who did not even know about the Cooper, Kansas State did. The Hayti, Missouri lineman sporting a 3.96 GPA, not to mention ranking No. 1 in his class, will play D-I ball for the Wildcats. That and more in the following report.

With 6A being the largest classification in the Show Me State, the small school 1A sleeper William Cooper looks forward to earning his way into the lineup at Kansas State. The 6-4.5, 250-pound offensive tackle fits the mold of athletic linemen K-State is seemingly landing on both sides of the ball in this year's recruiting class. But where exactly will Coop play on the Tim McCarty OL?
