Payton Kirk Back from Manhattan

Scout.com two-star defensive end Payton Kirk, from Liberty, (Mo.), was in Manhattan this weekend for his official visit. The Wildcat verbal talked of his trip.

"It was pretty good," Payton Kirk said. "I had a lot of fun. My host was Trevor Viers. We got along real good. We were with the host a lot. We had like four hours before dinner, and then like four hours after dinner to hang out. I got to know him and his roommates pretty good. They were all football players also."

"I have already seen all of those before," Kirk replied when asked of the facilities. "And I have always been kind of impressed with those. The weight room and the locker room and all the new stuff is all going to be really nice."

"My favorite part of the trip was going to coach (Ron) Prince's house to eat. That was really cool having all the commits there together. I talked a lot to Brandon Walls and Dante Pinchback. They were both really cool."

"I am 100-per cent. If other schools try to call me my high school coach tells them I am committed and not interested."
