Senior Day!! - Cats take out Horns

A game that began with a ceremony honoring the 2006 seniors on the Wildcat football ended with a celebration that few outside of Manhattan gave any chance of happening. With fans storming the field and the scoreboard showing 45-42, several Wildcats ended their Little Apple playing days with big, big win. Some turned in performances they will remember forever - like Yamon Figurs.

Of all the senior Cats, wide receiver Yamon Figurs turned in the biggest game. Figurs pulled in six catches for 123 yards, including a pair of long touchdowns. He also set up another Wildcat score with a 52 yard punt return that took K-State down to the Texas 8-yard line. "Josh (Freeman) and Yamon have a nice chemistry," coach Ron Prince said.
