Terrance Anderson Lists Favorites

Anderson is a bit of an unknown at the defensive back position, playing almost exclusively at the quarterback spot for Aldine HS in Houston, Texas. A little undersized at 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, Anderson will play DB or WR at the college level. We caught up with the talented recruit to discuss recruiting and his list of favorite schools.

Terrance Anderson, Houston Texas, DB,QB

With solid speed, Terrance Anderson of Aldine HS in Houston, Tx is being recruited at both the wide receiver and defensive back positions. Playing quarterback for his high school, Anderson has been making the transition to defensive back at virtually every summer camp he has attended this year. Although still a little rusty and learning the defensive position, Terrance says depending on the school, he is being recruited at all three positions.

Some schools have mentioned me coming in as a quarterback, a defensive back and there has been talk of me going to play college football as a wide receiver.” Anderson told KStateFans.

With most of his experience at quarterback, Anderson readily admits he does not have a preference and that how each school recruits him will not have an impact on his decision. “I just want to play college football and get out of where I am now.” said Anderson.

Anderson will play on both sides of the ball this year logging dual duties at the defensive back position and the taking the reins of the Aldine offense as quarterback ---making him a very appealing prospect to a number of schools.

In terms of recruiting, this lonestar prospect in interested in Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Wisconsin, UTEP, Colorado, and Nebraska.

As far as favorites go, Terrance did say if he had to pick three schools who were in the lead for his signature it would be: “ probably the Sooners, Texas A&M and OSU right now.” Anderson was quick to mention that his list could change quickly and that right now he is open and is looking for the right place.

Without taking visits, of which this recruit would like to take before making a final decision, Terrance says he is just basing his recruiting list on his relationships with the coaches.

Having attended the Oklahoma State camp, Anderson will be a busy man this summer, heading to camps at Texas A&M, LSU and if time permits, possibly UTEP.

Anderson recently ran a hand held 4.33 in the 40 and says he is working on speed this summer. This recruit is fully qualified academically and will be ready in the fall of 2006. A multi talented player who is athletic enough to play different positions, Terrance does have one thing he is looking for in a college: "I just want to play anywhere that I can help the team, said Anderson."
