De Soto, Texas' Patrick Williams says there is another side to him- away from just being a 6'2- 187 pound All-State Wide Receiver with great hands and excellent route running. And this young Wide receiver says he is pretty particular in what he wants out of his college of choice.

In talking with Patrick, he says he would like to go to school somewhere where he is cared for as a person, not just a football player.

As recruiting for this Lonestar recruit has started to heat up, that's just one of many concerns for the Patrick who named his top five Monday night. The 6-2 187 pound Williams, lists his top five in no particular order as: " Kansas State, Kansas, LSU, Utah, and Colorado." His only scheduled visit is slated for November 21 at Kansas with more to be announced soon.

As for what the criteria are in choosing the right college for him, "I just want to go somewhere I can fit in best," he said. "I'm looking at all of it, the education, social settings, and the coaches. All of those are important to me."

One interesting aspect is that Williams' head coach Dave Meadows is quite familiar with both the Wildcats and Jayhawks. Meadows was head coach at Garden City High School in Southwest Kansas throughout the 1990s.

So what does his High School coach tell his young star? "He just tells me to give everyone a chance and not to lock myself in anywhere until see all the schools," said Williams, who has two friends that play for Kansas. "He wants me to make my own decision, but told me both schools have good programs."

We will have a follow-up interview with this Lonestar WR as he sets his visits, Stay Tuned.
