In-State QB Impresses at KSU Camp

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Alex Delton of Hays (Kan.) High School was so impressive at the K-State summer camp the staff decided to extend an offer to the 6-foot-0.5, 188-pound quarterback who won't be a senior until the fall of 2014. Although Delton is just in the early stages of the recruiting process, his interest is picking up steam since he's shaved 0.12 seconds off his 40 yard dash time.

"I had just got home from a workout and was sitting on my couch when I was told to call coach Cox," Delton told "He talked to me about how well I performed at camp with a 4.40 40 time.
