There wasn't much West Virginia did right offensively in its season-opening loss to Gonzaga, according to coach Bob Huggins, who said that until some players become better decision-makers and passers, things might get pared down a bit.

Forward Keaton Miles revealed that Huggins took away the players' practice gear after the Gonzaga loss, saying they would need to earn some of their privileges back after a subpar performance.

Guard Juwan Staten said he is ready and willing to take the ball more and have more responsibilities on offense if that is what Huggins sees fit, as Staten claims to be comfortable in the Huggins' motion system.
