Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe offensive tackle Kenny Lacy was on hand at the Rose Bowl on Saturday to watch UCLA, the team he claims he is solidly committed to, beat crosstown rival, USC, 38-28.

"It was a really cool trip," Lacy tells FOX Sports NEXT. "I liked it a lot. It was a big game for the team and I got to meet some more of the guys that I didn't know yet, like Kenneth Clark and Sean Dowling.

"I had a good time just being around the players and coaches; it was a good trip."

Lacy made the trip to Westwood with high school teammate and good friend, junior offensive guard Natrell Curtis.

"I came with Natrell and his family," Lacy shares. "He was really excited about it, it was a big game. He didn't expect UCLA to win that game, so he was pretty surprised."

Lacy, who feels the Bruins made a statement nationally, says the highlight of his trip came following the victory.

"The locker room after the game was the best," he describes. "Just all the players celebrating, Coach Mora and everybody was in there, everyone was excited about the win and it was pretty cool."

"I'm 100% committed right now," Lacy states.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound athlete will visit Kansas State officially on December 1st. He is also planning trips to Michigan and Vanderbilt.
