MANHATTAN, Kan. - One way to establish yourselves in the minds of elite recruits is to be the first school to offer. That's exactly what Kansas State did with class of 2014 prospect, Cedric Collins II, a cornerback out of Dallas Skyline High School. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Collins started as a freshman at the Texas powerhouse and was named was a sophomore All-American last season.

"Kansas State offered me the summer after my freshman season," said Cedric Collins. "Coach (Michael) Smith is my recruiter. They like my confidence and how well I can play man coverage.
