Gipson Continues To Make Significant Impact

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Going into the weekend, Thomas Gipson led the Wildcats in scoring with a 14.0 point average, plus was the top rebounder at 8.1 per game. Coach Frank Martin credits Gipson with filling a role that K-State has not had for quite some time, which is a player who can play with his back to the basket with effectiveness.

Thomas Gipson just doesn't fit his looks. His man's man's frame and man's man's black beard makes him look more than 18 years of age, but he won't turn 19 until January 11.
