Senior Cory Higgins led the Colorado Buffaloes to an historic win in the program's history today defeating Kansas for the third time this season 87-75 to advance to the Big 12 tournament semifinals for the first time in history.

Curtis Kelly posted his fourth straight double double grabbing 10 rebounds and accounting for 18 points in an effort that still saw Kansas State fall to the Buffs in Big 12 Tourney play.

Even with solid play from players like Will Spradling adding 14 points and Rodney McGruder posting 11 points, the Wildcats never seemed to be able to mount a comeback.

Four Kansas State players scored in double figures led by Curtis Kelly and Jacob Pullen.
